Once you have decided that New View Homes is the company you would like to build with and have accepted the detailed quotation, you will complete a Preliminary Agreement and pay an amount of $2,500.
The Preliminary Agreement is inclusive of the following:
The site visit will determine whether any excavation work needs to be carried out on the property to level the building site, will determine the orientation of the home on the block, boundary fencing and take measurements for preparation of a site plan.
If building a transportable home a site visit will also determine that there is good road access, driveways are wide enough for access and whether you may need to remove any trees or fencing to allow appropriate access.
A soil test will be carried out to determine the soil classification of your land. This then determines the size and depth of the footings required for the building of your new home.
Building Plan Preparation
Please note this agreement includes drawing up of a floor plan including up to four changes. Any changes after this will incur a fee.
Please Note– The Preliminary Agreement does not include lodgement of a Planning or Building Permit.

Once the plans are drawn and you are happy with the design, the contract and drawings need to be signed along with a 5% deposit paid.
The Building Application – All soil tests and computations required to meet building regulations will be supplied by New View Homes Pty Ltd. Once these have been received New View Homes Pty Ltd will then apply for all building permits required. This can take approximately two weeks but can vary.
Colour Selection – This is when you get to really put your individual style into your home. Our consultant will meet with you at our professional colour selection centre where along with the selection centre consultant we will guide you through the colour selection of your kitchen, tiles, carpets, blinds etc. We make sure your home is unique to you and reflects your lifestyle. Our standard range is amazing and will not disappoint you with a wide range to choose from that puts us ahead of others.
Construction – Building time is generally between 12 -16 weeks depending on weather factors and site conditions. New View Homes will keep you up to date every step of the way and invite you to visit our premises to view the stages of your home being built. We will also email photos to you throughout the build process so you are kept up to date.
Progress Payments – Progress payments will be required. There are 7 stages of payments and our office staff will contact you in advance of each payment stage along with photos.
Delivery of your Home – Once your home has been completed, delivery to your site will be arranged. Your home will be delivered in one, two or three sections and placed on concrete piers, pavers and ant-capping ready for your utilities to be connected.
Onsite Construction / Connection of Services – Now that your home has been delivered, any verandahs, decks, carports etc that require onsite construction will be erected. During this time your site connection to services by your onsite tradesmen can be completed.
Handover – Final inspection of your home will take place and we will walk you through your home and ensure that you are completely satisfied. Final stage payment and any outstanding variation costs will be required before handing over the keys to your new home and the next amazing chapter of your life.
Maintenance – A maintenance inspection will be arranged at the three month period.
